Honda Distributors (Two Wheels Ltd) was established in 1989 as distributors for Honda Motorcycles, ATVs, Lawn & Garden, Marine, Power Equipment and Genuine Honda Parts in Ireland. It boasts strong dealership network throughout the Republic of Ireland.
In 2008 the company re-located their Head Quarters to a new state-of-the art premises on a two acre site in the M50 Business Park, Ballymount. The new three-story facility contains a 30,000 sq ft warehouse, the custom built Service Centre and Spare parts storage facility. Altogether, including the office space and new showroom area, the complex extends to an impressive 60,000 sq ft.
Honda Distributors has been a market leader for the last number of years, maintaining the number one position in the following categories:
- #1 for Motorcycles for the last 5 years;
- #1 for Marine Outboard Engines;
- #1 for All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs);
- #1 for Engine sales (OEM);
- #1 for Premium Lawn & Garden.
In 2010 Two Wheels Ltd, were the 35th company to be awarded the AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) Certification by the EU Customs Administration. This certifies that the company met excellent standards in relation to security, management systems, compliance with customs rules and ongoing solvency.
Honda Distributors have successfully secured the Garda Motorcycle Traffic Corp Fleet, the AA Motorcycle Rescue Fleet and the Irish Army Presidential Escort Fleet. Working closely also with the Irish Coast Guard, ESB and An Teagasc providing ATV Fundamental Training and Demonstration.
In 2011 and 2012 REDCO was awarded Deloitte Best Managed Company Winner, the award promotes and recognises excellence in Irish owned and managed companies. It is the only award scheme in Ireland that considers a business' performance from every perspective and evaluates the calibre of their management abilities and practices.
